Recipe: toasty, cheesy, tomato-y


I don't know what you'd really call this concoction. It's like brochette with mozzarella and tomatoes. But, I didn't use mozzarella or brochette.  Although, I suppose you could. I don't know, help me name this snack! I love it. I've been eating this for years!

Ingredients
Sliced Bakery French Bread
Gouda Sliced Cheese
Medium-sized tomato
Freshly ground pepper (optional)
Crushed red pepper (optional)
pinch of salt (optional)

Directions
1. I like to slightly toast my bread first. Broil the bread until just slightly golden brown.
2. Take out of the oven, put half a slice of cheese per slice of bread. (Or more if your slices are bigger than mine, or you just really like cheese!)
3. Place sliced tomato on top.
4. Season.
5. Broil in oven until cheese is melted.

Easy-peasy!
