the perfect sweet tea

Again, referencing my southern twang...sweet tea. I know many people from the north aren't as keen on sweet tea as us southerners are. (I may or may not have written that sentence with a country accent.) And, I just don't get it! But, for those of you who do love this souther nectar, there's an art to it. Nothing is as good as your mama's sweet tea, right? Because, believe you me, YOU CAN MESS UP SWEET TEA!

Well, I've found the perfect amounts of the simple ingredients that make my favorite drink. Here's how I do it.

1 bag Lipton's Family Size bags Black Tea
7 cups boiling water
1/4 cup sugar (or more if you like sweeter)

(optional)
A few slices of lemon for Iced Lemon Sweet Tea

I combine all these ingredients into my Weck juice jar, stir. Be sure to leave the tea bag in, and place in the refrigerator over night.
