10 things about me.
For any new readers (and my lovely devoted readers!), because I like learning new things about the author of the blogs I read.
001. I really appreciate a love for learning. One thing I admire in people is when they read about how to do something or how to do something better. Not just, look it up on the internet to get a job done type of read. Like "I bought a book on fishing. I already know how to fish, but I want to learn how to fish better." Does that make any sense at all? I guess I should mention I ramble, too.
002. When I go out to eat, I base where I want to eat on one specific meal I want. And, because I order one specific dish at certain restaurant I base my decision on where to eat on what dish I feel in the mood to eat. No trying new dishes, I'll have to find a new restaurant for that.
003. I really like messy, big hair. I hate brushes. I some times wonder if people think my hair looks nappy. And, if they did think that, it still wouldn't change me from never brushing my hair.
004. I not afraid of snakes or spiders. I'm afraid of someone breaking into my home. Especially at night.
005. I sort of have this thing for pictures of old World War II soldiers. That combed over hair, ah!
006. I like math. In fact, I teach workshops for students in remedial math at my university.
007. I really, really want to travel. But, who doesn't, right? I want to travel with Daniel and make homemade movies about our trips.
008. I've never really wanted a diamond ring for a wedding ring. I really want a slim gold band. I'm not that high maintenance at all, really.
009. I love bland tasting things. Those blended Starbucks drinks are just too much for me. I'll take a cup of dark coffee with cream.
010. I'm really good at the the video game Mario Kart. Not because I play video games. Matter of fact, I don't play any video games at all. But, my brother has Mario Kart for game cube, and my step-sisters came down to visit one year, and they really got into playing that game. Both of them obliterated me when I played with them once. I didn't play with them again that trip. But, when they left, I practiced. When I want to be good at something, I tend to become obsessed with it, and do it for hours at a time for days. Well, let's just say, neither of them could beat me the next year they came to visit.

I can TOTALLY agree with the restaurant comment! I do the same thing! Gotta love cravings! Great blog :)

I know right! I also tend to eat more veggie/meatless things when I'm out, so when the person inline next to me hears what I'm ordering, I often get statements or questions like "I couldn't be a vegetarian." or "How do you do it." It's kind of awkward when I tell them I'm not a vegetarian.
DeleteJust stumbled on to your sweet blog, and had to say that I am with you on the go-to dish at restaurants. It's to the point that my husband can order for me wherever we go. Ha! And of course he's the complete opposite and never gets the same thing twice. (:
