10 things
Ten things I'm thankful for:
001. I'm very thankful for all the opportunities that college has given me. I've traveled the world, done things I never thought I'd get to do and I have an appreciation for learning.
002. Phone cases...I can't count on my hands how many times I've dropped my phone this week. Thanks to my phone case, my phone still works and isn't cracked.
003. Tumblers. I wish I had time to sit and read the newspaper or check my emails while drinking coffee in the morning. Sigh. I'll just have to get my fix on the go.
004. Having connections. This week I had an extension on an application AND had my resume critiqued by a professional just because of connections. It just goes to show, putting yourself out there and letting people know you exist has its benefits.
005. Loose Leaf Tea. Perfect for the teapot Lynn got me for Christmas.
006. Fleece. Layering it under my coat has been a lifesaver in this single digit weather.
007. More time for studying/doing homework. Even though I'm busier than I've ever been this semester, it's mainly because I have to dedicate much, much more time to studying just to pass class my classes. Luckily, my non-school work load is light this semester.
008. Manners and Politeness. It got me a raise. Being nice can go so far, especially in difficult situations.
009. Spell Check. I stink at grammar and spelling.
010. Cheese and sticks. You know those snacks with the little well of cheese and you dip the tiny bread stick in it. Yeah, I've eaten like two of those a day for the last two weeks.

Thanks so much for sponsoring me!

i still don't share my blog with people i know, that i'm beginning to find out that many of them find and read it anyway ;) it is so scary to put yourself out there!
ReplyDeleteGaby, do people who know you ever find you blog and ask you about it? How do you respond? I've had a few people ask me, and it was terrifying at first.
DeleteI can totally relate to sharing the link to your blog! I only started talking about my blog in person and sharing it on social media extensively last year, and it felt so weird to talk about it\. I felt conceited in some way, but the more you share it the more support you'll find! I also found people I hadn't talk to in years contacted me saying they were inspired to start their own blog and wanted my advice!
ReplyDeleteP.s. Love the new look of your blog! Need to get the new url in my bloglovin' now! :)
That's really great to hear, Kory! Knowing that other people who are on the same boat as me got so much positive feedback from sharing! Your blog is one of my all time favorites, and I am so glad you did share it!
DeleteI am cracking up at the one about you being bad at grammar (hoping it was on purpose) LOL!
